Tim Egloff
Tim Egloff (born May 13, 1974 in Hamburg ) is a German actor and director .
Acting career
Even before he graduated from Schauspiel München (1999), Tim Egloff made his cinema debut as blackmailer Detlef in The Heads of My Loved Ones . This was followed in 2000 by Marco Petry's comedy school , in which he played the daredevil André. Petry also hired him for his follow-up film The Class of '99 - School was yesterday, life is now (2003). He also had leading roles in TV films ( In the end, love wins , Eine Liebe auf Mallorca ) and numerous guest roles in series such as Coast Guard , Bei aller Liebe , SOKO 5113 and Großstadtrevier .
In 2001 Tim Egloff went to the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . There he played, among others, Ferdinand in Kabale und Liebe , Peer Gynt and Paul in Marius von Mayenburgs Feuergesicht . He worked with directors such as Jürgen Gosch , Michael Simon and Florian Fiedler . In 2006 he followed the director Burkhard C. Kosminski to the Nationaltheater Mannheim . Director
Egloff made his debut as a director in 2008 at the Landungsbrücken Theater in Frankfurt , where he staged Felicia Zeller's beer for women . Anke Niehammer developed the stage design, the costume design was designed by Janine Werthmann, who had previously worked with Egloff at the Mannheim National Theater. His second production, Faith, Love and Hope , also premiered in September 2009 at the Landungsbrücken in Frankfurt.
At the Stadttheater Bremerhaven he opened the 2010/11 season in the Small House under the new management of Ulrich Mokrusch with the adaptation of Ilija Trojanows' novel The world is big and salvation is everywhere . In January 2011, Dennis Kelly's After the End , Young Theater Göttingen was staged . He also staged Andorra at the Paderborn Theater in September 2018 and the parasite, or the art of making one's fortune , in January 2020.
