Marco Petry

Marco Petry (* 1975 in Würselen ) is a German film director and screenwriter .

Life

From 1996 to 2000 he studied in Dept. III Film & TV Drama at the University of Television and Film Munich . In 2002 he founded Modesto Film GbR together with producer Bernd Krause. He currently lives in Munich .

For the film Schule (2000) he received the Eastman Prize for Young Talent at the Hof Film Festival 2000.

Marco Petry co-wrote and directed the script for the feature film Heiter bis wolkig (with Jessica Schwarz and Max Riemelt), which was released on September 6, 2012.
