Doctor Games is a German teen - comedy of Marco Petry from the year 2014, which appeared on the 2009 novel Doctor games of Jaromir Konecny based. The summer holidays begin and Andi is invited to a party by Katja, which he secretly adores. However, Bobby will also be there, with whom Katja is in love. Andi has known since meeting in the shower after the soccer game that Bobby has an oversized penis. Andi, on the other hand, still suffers from a childhood trauma since his sandpit friend Lilli saw him playing doctor naked at the age of seven and then trumpeted in front of numerous summer party guests how tiny Andi's penis was.
Even so, Andi lets his best friend Harry persuade him to go to the party with the three of them Lilli who has just arrived. As a small gift, he gives Katja a self-made CD with songs that he hopes his crush will enjoy. At the party, Andi Katja sings a song that he accompanies on electric guitar. When Katja comes to him, he throws up violently on her dress, because he is meanwhile drunk. When Lilli takes him outside, he ends up in the pool due to an accident.
The next day he wakes up in bed next to Lilli, who has undressed him to wash his dirty clothes. Andi is clearly uncomfortable with the situation.
In the outdoor pool, Andi apologizes to Katja, who finally accepts his apology and wants to meet him more often from now on, but only to make Bobby jealous. Meanwhile, Lilli gets to know Bobby better and the two of them meet up more often.
When Andi is with Katja one evening and she makes more sexual innuendos, Harry intervenes, who is being followed by Bea's father in the car, because Harry wanted to record the two of them privately with a camera during sex; her father had misinterpreted the scene, however. The next day, Harry brings all of his porn and laptop to Bea's childhood home using a wheelbarrow. There he wants to burn the porn and his laptop to show his departure from it. However, the wheelbarrow slips forward and ignites the house.
Andi's mother is informed about this by phone and wants to punish Andi, but his father defends him, whereupon the parents quarrel.
Katja and Andi meet again. When Katja wants to sleep with him, he realizes, among other things, through his discarded CD, which he accidentally discovers in her wastebasket, that Katja is not serious about him and goes home before something happens between the two of them. He realizes that he actually has feelings for Lilli and plays and records a song for her on the PC.
Andi later watches Bobby bring Lilli home. When Lilli comes up to him, he doesn't believe that nothing has happened between the two and expresses his displeasure with their behavior.
The next day, after the soccer game, Andi wants to confront Bobby, who explains to him that Lilli has fallen in love with him and that he is gay himself. Andi makes his way to the train station to intercept Lilli before departure and sends her the song he has produced on the way. When Lilli receives it, she gets off the train and the two kiss.
When Andi and Lilli are in bed together, they play doctor again.

kino.de saw parallels to American Pie - Like a Hot Apple Pie (1999), but also to George Lucas ' American Graffiti (1973) and American Diner (1982) by Barry Levinson , and described the film as “heavy, hearty teen sex -Comedy ".
