Jaromir Konecny

Jaromir Konecny (born November 1, 1956 as Jaromír Konečný in Prague ) is a Czech-German writer, slam poet and natural scientist.

Life

Konecny ​​worked as a technician in Libya , was a worker in the metal industry and ship master for the Czech Elbe-Oder shipping company before he emigrated to the Federal Republic in 1982. After a year in a collection camp in Lower Bavaria , he studied chemistry at the Technical University of Munich , where he did his doctorate on the development of the genetic code . He was a research assistant at the chair for theoretical chemistry at the Technical University of Munich and now lives in Munich as a freelance writer and journalist. Alongside Michael Sailer and Moses Wolff, he is a founding member of the Lesebühne Schwabinger Schaumschläger Show , which takes place every Sunday with guests in the “Vereinsheim” bar in Munich- Schwabing . Konecny ​​is also a poetry slam mer and took second place at the German poetry slam championships in 1999 in Weimar and 2000 in Düsseldorf. He blogs regularly under the title "Brain & AI - brain research, artificial intelligence, consciousness and all the rest" in the blog portal Scilogs .

In 2020 he was appointed to the Munich tower scribe.
