Patricia Kalember

Patricia Kathryn Kalember (born December 30, 1956 in Schenectady , New York ) is an American actress . She was best known for her role as Georgie in the television series Sisters .

Life

Patricia Kalember was born in New York State, the daughter of Vivian Daisy and Robert James Kalember. She grew up in Westport , Connecticut and Louisville , Kentucky . After her drama teacher recommended that she attend drama school, she applied to Indian and Tempele University, where she then completed her training. After she separated from her husband Mark Torres in 1983 after three years of marriage, she now lives in New York City with her second husband Daniel Gerrol, whom she married in 1986. They have three children together: Benjamin, Rebecca and Tobias.

After completing her acting training, she returned to New York City, where she appeared in many plays. In 1985 she played Marcia in the cinema adaptation of Stephen King's Cat's Eye . She then played in numerous television series from 1986 to 1996: Kay O'Brien , Thirtysomething and Sisters , with which she made her breakthrough. She then starred in several movies until she played the pastor's wife, who died in a tragic car accident, in M. Night Shyamalan's science fiction thriller Signs in 2002 . From 2001 to 2008 she was in the television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit .

In 2011 she had an appearance in the film Without Limit , a year later she starred alongside Annette Bening in Girl Most Likely .
