Ryan Jonathan Kelley (born August 31, 1986 in Putnam Valley , Illinois ) is an American actor .

Life

He was born and raised in Glen Ellyn, a western suburb of Chicago . Ryan is the fifth oldest of 15 siblings; nine of them are adopted. Since he was two years old, Kelley played in over 50 advertising appearances.

Ryan Kelley is best known for his roles in Smallville , where he plays 13-year-old Ryan James. In the US he became known for his role as Ben Tennyson in Ben 10: Alien Swarm for the Cartoon Network . He had a bigger role in the Stolen Summer , which was made during the Project Greenlight documentary series .

In 2006 he had a role in Letters from Iwo Jima , and in Prayers for Bobby , which premiered on Lifetime on January 24, 2009. Since 2014 he has played the supporting role of Deputy Jordan Parrish on the MTV television series Teen Wolf .
