Heike Wiehle-Timm (* 1958 in Kassel ) is a German dramaturge , film producer , managing director and co-founder of Relevant Film .

Life

After studying theater studies , German literature and journalism , Heike Wiehle-Timm worked as a dramaturge assistant for the Free Volksbühne Berlin and from 1982 to 1986 as a dramaturge at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich. In 1987 she was entrusted with a teaching position for contemporary drama and dramaturgy at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In her adopted home of Hamburg , Heike Wiehle-Timm worked as a producer for the Polyphon Film- und Fernsehgesellschaft since 1988, where she developed numerous TV games and series, including a. a. Der kleine Vampir - Neue Abenteuer (1993) based on books by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg (script: Sabine Thiesler , director: Christian Görlitz ), born in 1999 (1992) by Charlotte Kerner (book: Beate Langmaack , director: Kai Wessel ) and Ein Mann for each key (1993) based on the novel by Hera Lind (director: Peter Timm ).

In 1993 she founded the Relevant Film Production Company in Hamburg together with Peter Timm . Since then she has produced numerous feature films for cinema and television as well as multi-part series.

Heike Wiehle-Timm is a member of the German Film Academy . She was a member of the Kassel Advisory Board and a deputy member of the HessenInvestFilm III evaluation committee.

Heike Wiehle-Timm has been Head of Production for the film course at the Hamburg Media School since 2010 .

Heike Wiehle-Timm is the mother of two daughters and lives in Hamburg.
