The time with you is a German television film by Stefan Krohmer from 2014 with Ulrike Kriener , Herbert Knaup , Leslie Malton , Henry Hübchen , Johanna Gastdorf and Ernst Stötzner in the leading roles.

Three married couples, who are all friends of one another, experience the destruction of their previously apparently beautiful private life. Vera cheats on Heiko with another man in the hotel and even gives him a rare edition of her husband's book. What Vera and Heiko do not even suspect: he has cancer and is considered to have been out of therapy. Oncologist Klaus confesses to his friends and Marlene after three years that he is having an affair with young Floriane, who is now pregnant by him, although he never wanted to have children with Marlene. There is also a huge crisis between Paul and Christiane, Paul hardly pays his wife any attention.
With all these private disasters, everyone now has to see how best to deal with the new situation and master it in the end. Marlene immediately puts her Klaus in front of the door, whereupon he moves in with Floriane. Her friends try to help her, which they only partially manage.
Paul recently retired and initially indulges in idleness. Christiane does not want to accept this and is now trying to find her way back into professional life after years of being a housewife. This has the advantage that she then also earns her own money. Since Paul has also developed a thrift stick with his retirement, which even falls victim to a planned trip to the USA with Heiko, she no longer has to ask Paul for every euro. After Christiane has successfully re-entered the job, she can no longer stand it with her small-minded husband and she moves in with Marlene. Paul draws his lesson from this and begins to improve, he also tries to win Christiane back with a funny video message.
High school teacher Heiko is not enthusiastic when Vera tells him about the alleged sale of his important first edition . When Vera realizes this, she asks her friend Martin to return the book. Nevertheless, Heiko is angry. When the friends meet again (without Klaus), Vera experiences two surprises, on the one hand Marlene presents Martin as her new companion, on the other hand Heiko suffers a breakdown. In the clinic, they now find out about the incurable brain tumor. This means that Heiko's trip to America is over. The tumor grows so quickly that Heiko becomes a nursing case after just a few weeks.
In view of the approaching end of Heiko, all friends agree on a last get-together. Everyone, including Klaus with his new family and Martin, meet in a holiday home on neutral ground. In memory of the old days, spend a few days in the usual harmony.
