Thomas Kügel

Thomas Kügel (born July 6, 1959 in Burgebrach ) is a German actor .

Life

From 1985 to 1987, Thomas Kügel received private acting training from Hildburg Frese in Hamburg . The first stage stops from 1987 onwards were the Stadttheater in Konstanz , the State Theater Schwaben in Memmingen , the Teamtheater and the Scaramouche Theater in Munich and the Kiel Theater . In Konstanz he played together with Bernhard Stengele over 100 times in the drama Art by Yasmina Reza . From 1996 to 2000 he had an engagement at the Lower Saxony State Theater in Hanover and from 2000 to 2005 he was a member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. Here he played the role of Capulet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in 2004 . As part of a guest performance in 2009 at the Hamburg Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Heinrich von Kleist's comedy Der zerbrochne Krug, he was judge Walter .

Thomas Kügel continued to work in many film and television productions .

Among them was the 1992 film comedy Kleine Haie by Sönke Wortmann with Jürgen Vogel , Kai Wiesinger and Meret Becker . He was seen as an actor in television series such as Marienhof , Großstadtrevier , SOKO Wismar , SOKO Leipzig , Der Dicke , Polizeiruf 110 and the Coast Guard . With the role of the supervisor Roland Schladitz of inspector Klaus Borowski ( Axel Milberg ) in the television series Tatort from Kiel , he gained great fame since 2003. Also in the series Heiter bis tödlich: Nordisch bitter he played a superior with Kriminalrat Hinrichs from 2011 to 2012 .
