The narrow ridge is a German TV film by Achim von Borries from 2009 . It is the thirteenth episode of the ZDF crime film series Unter Verdacht with Senta Berger as Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek in the lead role.

Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek's superior Claus Reiter is said to have shot boarding school student Hans Gerber with his service weapon. Reiter is one of the school's sponsors. Prohacek goes to the boarding school, where she questions the teachers and students about the wounded Hans Gerber. The boarding school has a strict and set schedule, so it would have been difficult for the students to leave the premises unnoticed.
