Brubeck is a German television film directed by Ed Herzog from 2008 . It is the eleventh episode of the ZDF crime film series Unter Verdacht with Senta Berger as Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek in the lead role.

action

In a car accident , Chief Inspector Gunther Brubeck loses his wife and their child. Brubeck blames the politician Gert Kramer, the pharmaceutical representative Evelyn Dohr and the star pianist Leonard Brunner, who drove the accident car, for the death of his family. Brubeck initiates a plan of revenge against the trio. Gert Kramer, who apparently is said to have killed himself, left the police officer Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek made a reference to Brubeck. She begins the investigation against the inspector and has to find out that her superior, Dr. Claus Reiter is friends with Brubeck and boycotts their work rather than promoting it.

criticism

The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm gave the film the best possible rating, they pointed with the thumbs up. They stated: "Despite mini weaknesses captivating and realistic".
