Other People's Money is a German TV film by Achim von Borries from 2007 . It is the tenth episode of the ZDF crime film series Unter Verdacht with Senta Berger as Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek in the lead role.

action

The 13-year-old Jennifer Bruhns involuntarily has to watch as her own father is kidnapped during a nightly police check and leaves in shock with a notebook, which arouses great interest in the police officer Baumann. The detective Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek found out during her investigation that the officers involved were corrupt. In order to go further, however, she needs the notebook that Jennifer stole. She is leading a manhunt for the young girl. Her mother turns to the detective with the words that her daughter thinks up something and makes up stories more often. When they find Jennifer, there's not much that can be got out of her because she is still in shock. Prohacek and her assistant Langner call in a police psychologist.

The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm gave the film the best possible rating, they pointed with the thumbs up. They stated: “Intelligent crime thriller with social criticism”.
