Bernd Fischer (* 1964 in Munich ) is a German cameraman and film director .

He studied from 1991 to 1996 at the Babelsberg Film School . He has been working as a cameraman in film and television since 1992 and has so far been involved in more than 50 productions. In 2003 he directed the award-winning documentary Greetings from Dachau .

Bernd Fischer is a member of the German Film Academy and the European Film Academy .
