Camerimage is a Polish film festival . It took place in Toruń from 1993 to 1999 and was relocated to Łódź in 2000 . From 2010 until 2018 the venue was Bydgoszcz . In November 2019 the festival will take place again in Toruń for the first time. From 2007 to 2012 the festival name was expanded to “Plus Camerimage”. The festival was established to celebrate and honor the art of camera work . Along with the Manaki Brothers Film Festival in Bitola, North Macedonia, it is one of the few film festivals in the world that has camera work as its theme. In addition to cameramen, directors and film editors are also recognized for their work. The main prize of the festival is the Golden Frog.
