Greig Fraser

Greig Fraser (born October 3, 1975 in Melbourne ) is an Australian cameraman .

Life

Fraser has been a cameraman since 2000. At first he was mainly involved in several short films. Several cinema productions followed since 2005. More often he worked with Glendyn Ivin . Frasers' work on Bright Star (2009) earned him the Australian Cinematographers Society's Cinematographer of the Year in 2011 . He also won his second AFI Award after 2005 and received an award at the British Independent Film Awards 2009 . Since then he has also worked for major Hollywood productions. 2012 Fraser was for Zero Dark Thirty from the New York Film Critics Circle in the category Best Cinematography Award.

Fraser was responsible for cinematography for the December 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story . His work on the drama Lion, earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Cinematography and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) award .
