Sławomir Idziak

Sławomir Idziak (born January 25, 1945 in Katowice ) is a Polish cameraman.

Life

Idziak studied camera directing at the Łódź Film School in the 1960s . In the 1970s he worked with Krzysztof Kieślowski and quickly gained international recognition. For Three Colors: Blue , he won the 1993 Camera Award at the Film Festival in Venice . He was nominated for an Oscar for his work on Black Hawk Down .
