Marie Colbin
Marie Colbin (born November 18, 1957 in Gmunden ) is an Austrian author and actress .
Live and act
Marie Colbin attended the drama school of the Mozarteum in Salzburg for three years and graduated with a diploma. In 1977 she made her debut in Turrinis Rozznjogd . In the eighties she was seen in numerous film and television productions. In 1984 she was awarded for her dramatic performance in the case of Bach Meier , the German Film Award and a Best Actor Award at the International Film Festival Karlovy Vary .
Colbin was in a relationship with the later Nobel Prize laureate Peter Handke in the eighties . In an open letter in 1999 she accused him of having kicked and hit her - which Handke later admitted to the biographer Malte Herwig : “I kicked her in the ass. I think I knocked one off her too. I just wanted to work and I couldn't. Still, it wasn't good. I didn't like myself either. "
When the Literaturhaus Salzburg celebrated the writer Ilse Aichinger on October 30, 2006 , read a. a. Colbin from Aichinger's latest work, Subtexts .
In 2009 she read the text Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse in seven hours as part of the Gmunden Festival . Marie Colbin has been a member of the Academy of Austrian Films since 2011 .
In 2012 Colbin read Hermann Hesse's novel Siddhartha at the international literature festival in Berlin on the 50th anniversary of his death.
In 2013 Colbin published her first book TA-BU 2000-2013 in the Verlag Bibliothek der Provinz. At the Viennale 2013 she was a member of the jury of the Vienna Film Prize . In 2015 Marie Colbin published her book WINTER Lyrik in Verlag Bibliothek der Provinz.
Colbin lives as an author, photographer and freelance artist in Berlin and Salzburg.
