Mátyás Erdély

Mátyás Erdély (born September 17, 1976 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian cameraman .

Mátyás Erdély has been working as a cameraman since the mid-1990s. In addition to numerous short films, he has made a name for himself in the field of drama . The best-known work is the Oscar and Golden Globe award-winning concentration camp drama Son of Saul from 2015. For this he was awarded the bronze frog at the Camerimage Festival , the golden camera at the Manaki Brothers Film Festival and the Kossuth Prize .
