Jens Erling Fischer (born August 24, 1946 in Bromma , Stockholm , Sweden ) is a Swedish cameraman .

Life

Jens Erling Fischer is the son of the cameraman Gunnar Fischer and the younger brother of the cameraman Peter Fischer . As a child, he accompanied his father on his film shoots. He was also involved in the filming of Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal (1957), Wild Strawberries (1957), The Time with Monika (1953) and The Face (1958), where he played as a child actor in the desire of women . He later studied art and music history at the Sorbonne in Paris . After returning to Sweden he started working as a photographer before making his debut as a cameraman for a movie in 1986 with the children's film Wir Kinder aus Bullerbü . He won the Swedish Guldbagge film award for best camera for his work on The Last Dance , Under ytan and The Queen of Sheba's Pearls , making him the record winner in this category.
