Hans Dieter Trayer
Hans Dieter Trayer , also known as Dieter Traier or Hans Dieter Traier (born February 15, 1941 in Pforzheim ) is a German actor and acting coach.
Life
After completing three years of acting training, Trayer made his debut at the Staatstheater Hannover in 1964 , where he was part of the ensemble until 1968. Roles there were u. a. Johnny in O'Casey's Juno and the Peacock , Ajaxerle in The Farmer as a Millionaire and Joey in Pinters The Homecoming .
In 1969 he played at the Wuppertal theaters as Tiny in David Rudkins Before the Night and Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing . In 1970/71 he played at the Hamburg theaters: Ernst Deutsch Theater, Hamburger Kammerspiele and at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg. 1971 to 74 he belonged to the theaters of the city of Cologne and was there a. a. 1972 seen as Minard in Balzacs Das Finanzgenie .
In 1975/76 Trayer was committed to the Münchner Kammerspiele , 1977 to the Bavarian State Theater and 1978/79 to the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf . Since then he has been freelance.
In the 1970s he was seen in several television films, as well as in guest roles in the series SOKO 5113 (9 episodes) and The Millionaire Farmer . He became known as Paul in Wim Wenders ' Im Lauf der Zeit (1976). Between 1971 and 2009 he starred seven times in the series Tatort . In the 1980s and 1990s he was mainly seen in television roles: A restless summer , The Investigator , Almost Trinidad , A Case for Two , Lenz or Freedom , The Fast Gerdi , The Court Reporter , Anna , Simple Wish , Schande , The Commissioner , Sails of love , stormy years , back then you were quiet , mom and the millionaire , a dog for all occasions, etc. v. a.
In 1987 Trayer founded the drama school in Munich , which he directed for six years. In Munich he is best known as a theater actor. a. as father in the Vinterberg adaptation Das Fest (2003).
From 1993 to 1997 he lived and worked in New York, where he played Shakespeare and Strindberg on stage. Since the end of the 90s and after 2000 he has shared his work in film / television and theater, he also works as an acting coach and directs.
