Manu Kurz (* 1967 ) is a German film composer and producer.
Life
Manu Kurz began his career as a film composer in 1995 with the film Japanese are the better lovers , where he was co-composer of Andreas Kirnberger . He composed songs for Stadt talk , also in 1995. This was followed by other films such as Harald (1996), Women Don't Lie (1998) and Schlaraffenland (1999).
Manu Kurz mainly works for television films. He composed z. B. the soundtracks for the ZDF series Unter Verdacht with Senta Berger (Grimme Prize 2003 and German Television Prize 2003), Tatort / BR Out of Battle , K3 - Kripo Hamburg / NDR and Geht nicht es nicht / ZDF, with which he was nominated for the German Television Award 2003 in the category "Best Music". For the second time he was nominated for this award in 2007 for the music for Vom Ende der Eiszeit with Veronica Ferres and Detlev Buck .
