Das Karussell is a German television film by Ulrich Zrenner from 2005 . It is the fifth episode of the ZDF crime film series Unter Verdacht with Senta Berger as Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek in the lead role.
action
A Russian family resettled in a car accident with serious consequences in which only twelve-year-old Boris survived. The forest manager Janker admits to having caused the accident, but adds to his statement that another vehicle was also involved. The detective Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek starts the investigation and comes across the entrepreneur Edgar Keller. You come across so-called "carousel" deals, sham deals in which millions of input taxes are reimbursed by the tax office.
