Saskia Schwarz (* 1975 in Stuttgart ) is a German actress and director .

Life

Saskia Schwarz graduated from the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum from 1994 to 1998 and graduated with a diploma. Since 1996 she has played at theaters, including the Schauspielhaus Bochum , Staatstheater Mainz , Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel , Schauspiel Frankfurt , Theater Basel , and Sophiensæle Berlin. Her first film role was in the short film Cut by Thorsten Kirves (1997), her first television role in 1998 in an episode of the series Die Wache . Numerous other film and television productions followed. Among other things, she played the role of Manuela Pfisterer in the ZDF series Velvet and Silk from 2003-2004 .

Saskia Schwarz has been making her own films since 2004. In 2006 she was a guest auditor for documentary film at the University of Television and Film Munich and studied film directing at the International Film School in Cologne from 2010–2014 .
