Detlef Bothe
Detlef Bothe (born July 24, 1965 in Braunschweig ) is a German actor , director , producer , screenwriter and cameraman . Bothe is mainly active as an actor in the film industry.
Life
Detlef Bothe was born in Braunschweig in 1965. He completed an apprenticeship as a car mechanic and worked as a used car dealer, scene restaurateur and music organizer.
From 1989 to 1992 Bothe trained as an actor at the Zinner Studio in Munich . This was followed by piece contracts at various theaters, such as Stadttheater Augsburg , Staatstheater Hannover , Junge Theater Göttingen , Hau 2 Berlin, Kammerspiele Munich and continuous work in the film and television business, also internationally, as well as various works as an author for film and theater. His play Pornstars with Lovesickness premiered in 2003 at the State Theater in Hanover.
From the new millennium, Bothe also began to be active as a filmmaker . With some friends he made the film Holiday in 2001 , which received the jury's special prize for courage, innovation and madness at the Munich Film Festival in 2002 . In 2004 my wife, my friends and I made a debut in the first , in 2007 Beside the track and in 2009 the film Mein - both feature films for which he was also responsible as an author, director and producer. In the new James Bond film James Bond 007: Specter , which premiered in November 2015 , Bothe embodies the “villain” of a member of the international criminal organization Specter .
In November 2018 Detlef Bothe was presenter on “X-Factor: The Inconceivable Returns” in two episodes. RTL II showed the new episodes in favor of the 20th anniversary of X-Factor: The Unbelievable .
Bothe is a member of the German Film Academy .
