action
Vincent is a shy, nervous breakdown, middle-aged man. When he visits his girlfriend Rose to help her collect signatures against animal testing, he believes he saw her in the next window of an apartment building. The house, which resembles a labyrinth, the atmosphere and above all the tenants do not make it easy for him to find his girlfriend. A search begins in a diffuse network of withheld information, petty-bourgeois intrigue and the apparently criminal machinations of a doctor far beyond the limits of his perception.
reception
The film was screened at the 2004 Shanghai International Film Festival and Rhode Island International Film Festival .
criticism
"Since no drama is built up that works towards a climax, it is only logical not to want to surprise anyone with the resolution. Since the inflation of the Mindfuck films, it would be clear to everyone from the start who the Podesch they are looking for, because in Fight Club , The Machinist , Identity , Cypher , Secret Window etc. it is always whoever is.
