action

The two chicks Tommie and Mario work at Hallmann as gift couriers in Easter bunny costumes. When they harass a blonde in a Mercedes convertible on one of these trips and are thereby distracted, they get off the street and rumble into the middle of a rocker meeting. In doing so, they demolish numerous parked motorbikes and are beaten up by the bikers for this . Since their order has failed and the courier vehicle is junk, they are terminated by Hallmann and fobbed off with 200 DM . When they then sneak through the city depressed, they discover a poster on the window of a travel agency that advertises a "Super Mallorca offer - three nights 195, -". They go in immediately to secure the offer, but Kaddi and Rene, two Bergheimers , are waiting for the last two tickets. In the absence of cash, however, the Bergheimers leave the office to withdraw money from a nearby ATM. A short time later, the employee also leaves the travel agency to take her lunch break. Tommie uses this chance to buy the last two cheap tickets from the unsuspecting representative. Kaddi and Rene appear at the same moment with the money and have to watch as Tommie and Mario run away with their tickets, whereupon the two Bergheimers forge plans for revenge: They fill a canister with liquid manure and also travel to Mallorca with it To find Tommie and Mario and to punish them with a " Swedish drink ".

At the airport Dusseldorf arrived, Tommie and Mario jostle with the Jetset Girl Maja and flirt with her. They cause chaos throughout the flight, starting in the counter area. During the identity check, they accidentally knock down two security officers and on the plane they loot the roll container with the alcoholic beverages, causing Tommie to vomit over the other passengers due to the turbulence. When they arrive in Mallorca, they immediately look out for the Ballermann and an opportunity to "drink a bucket", snatching a bucket from an old lady on the street and drinking from it. After they are irritated by the taste and have thanked the lady, she empties the bucket on a tree. Tommie and Mario drink two beers for five DM on the beach and are now broke. The landlord advises them to contact the jet ski rental company Udo, who promptly has work for them and drives into town. Meanwhile, they are supposed to repair the defective steering of a jet ski and inflate its inflatable boat.

The chaos is not long in coming. The defective jet ski is first technically and optically "haired", whereby the repair of the steering is completely forgotten. Then Jürgen Drews shows up and wants to rent a jet ski. The two send him off on the tuned jet ski, which, due to the defective steering, sets course for the open sea and disappears on the horizon with Jürgen Drews. Tommie inflates the rubber dinghy with compressed air cylinders from Udo's diving equipment until the boat and Udo's shop explode. In order to be able to escape faster, they also “borrow” Udo's beach buggy and go in search of Maja. You can find her in the marina, where she is arguing with her lover. To make him jealous, she leaves the harbor and drives with Tommie and Mario back to their hotel.

As a thank you for the trip, she invites them to have a drink in the clubhouse on the golf course at the hotel. Here Tommie first makes Maja drunk and then sits on the pedigree cat of the Porsche driver from Voll normaaal , which promptly escapes. Tommie and Mario promise the lady to find the cat and bring it back. As in Voll normaaal, the use of the two of course degenerates into chaos, which the cat does not survive.

On the run again, it goes to the local discotheque, where Maja freaks out with more alcohol and thus wins the "wet T-shirt competition". As a prize, Tommie and Mario get “free drinking” the whole evening. At dawn they all end up with Maja in the bedroom, including her jealous friend, who was already in the disco and was struck down for several hours by a blow.

The friends flee again and again in order to earn money for Ballermann in a restaurant kitchen. Here they meet Maja and her jealous friend again. The “two-component adhesive aioli” served by Tommie and Mario as a revenge sticks his teeth together. In addition, Pedro, the flamenco dancer, is murderous at first because they fixed the sole of his shoe with thumbtacks. But the pain caused by the thumbtacks penetrating the footbed gives him so much temper that he receives a professional contract and the friends are saved and paid for at the last minute.

Then they find their hotel again, not realizing that the Bergheimers are on their heels. But just like at the airport and on the beach, the Bergheimers kick their teeth and run into two gays. At Ballermann 6 there is finally a showdown when the Bergheimers eat the sauerkraut that Maja's friend urinated in. But Tommie and Mario flee and dive into the largest sangríae bucket in the world, where they use straws to get air that is stolen from them. Forced to surface for lack of air, they face Udo and the two Bergheimers. Here they manage to escape for the very last time - unfortunately into a bullring. Completely in plaster, they meet Maja in Düsseldorf airport, who this time fends off her attempts to flirt. Recovered, a few weeks later they send Jürgen Drews, stranded on the banks of the Rhine, back to Mallorca on his jet ski.

Reviews and reactions

Ballermann 6 turned out to be a sufficiently polarizing film. Both a large fan base and ongoing discussions about the state of German culture emerged .

“ Tom Gerhardt's art figure Tommie is no longer quite as chubby as in the first film" Voll normaaal ". That is obviously good for the film. There is more emphasis on individual gags, there is more slapstick, but also more satirical undertones. Highlights are guest appearances by Uwe Ochsenknecht as "Rocker President" and especially Jürgen Drews as a running gag - almost in the truest sense of the word. So "Ballermann 6" is thoroughly entertaining fun that brings back memories of Jim Carrey's " Dumb and Dumber " a few times . "

- moviemaster.de

"You don't have to be drunk if you want to find this rough underground work funny - but it helps a lot."

"[...] silly [] farce with some very blatant coarseness [...]. Every approach to satire sinks [...] into the "Prolo demeanor" of the main actors, which is celebrated with relish and smugness. "

foreign countries

The Gerhardt film was released on DVD in Turkey. Here, the participation of Hilmi Sözer as the main actor, unlike in the German doctorate, was clearly emphasized.

continuation

In January 2011 a third part came into the cinemas: " The Superbullen " is about the now grown up chaotic duo Tommie and Mario, who as patrol officers in Cologne-Kalk causes a lot of unrest.

Awards

The film won the Bogey Award .
