Klaus-Jürgen "Knacki" Deuser (born May 28, 1962 in Kaiserslautern ) is a German presenter and comedian . He became known with the comedy show NightWash .

Career

Deuser was born in Kaiserslautern in 1962 and grew up in Koblenz . He ran competitive sports ( Athletics 800-1500 m) and in 1981 moved to Cologne , where he BWL studied. In 1983 he founded the comedy theater group “Die Niegelungen” with Ralf Günther and Wolfgang Lüchtrath, with which he appeared over 1,500 times over the next eleven years. In April 2009 Deuser, Günther, Roberto Capitoni and Andreas Grimm celebrated their comeback as “Die Niegelungen” after 15 years.

Between 1987 and 2001 he regularly spent several months abroad in New York City , he took acting lessons with Susan Batson and tap dance lessons with Henry LeTang. In 1992 he first directed A Midsummer Night's Dream in Koblenz . In 1993 Deuser was a participant in the RTL show and received first prize at the Koblenz Children's Theater Festival in 1995. After founding the Sankt Pank music project, Deuser took on his first television and film roles in 1996 (including jury court , slim to death , Ballermann ) and directed his first musical in Blood Brother . In 1999 he was a permanent member of the TV show Zimmer frei! .

In 2006/07 he moderated the improvisation format, thank God ... that you are here! on Pro 7 and has been with his solo program Deuser stands up! as well as with NightWash on Tour and from 2009 with the program Mist, I'm fine! on tour. In 2007 he brought his own company D'nA Productions GmbH into Brainpool Live Entertainment GmbH. Here he developed live comedy and was responsible, among other things, for the further development of the show NightWash , which he moderated and produced from 2001 to 2013. In December 2012 he left the management of Brainpool; in April 2013 he hosted his last NightWash program; his successor was Luke Mockridge , before Tahnee later took over the show. In 2016, Deuser took part in athletics competitions again after 32 years; he trains at ASV Cologne . In 2018 he was able to qualify in the 800-meter run for the Senior World Championships in Malaga , where he reached the semifinals.

With his company D'nA Productions GmbH, Deuser produces CD and radio projects for various comedians such as Mario Barth and Ausbild Schmidt . Added to this were the productions for the German Stand Up Festival in Düsseldorf as well as the production and moderation of the TV show Comedy Rotation (WDR 2005). In 2003 and 2005 he was head coach of the TV show Star Search . In 2005/06 he designed and hosted the carnival casting show Ab in die Bütt (WDR). In November 2009, he published his first book How to be Funny .. and can you live with it better? In 2012 he made his debut as a handicraft speaker at the Cologne and Düsseldorf carnivals . Among other things, he was in the nationwide broadcast ARD television session Düsseldorf Helau! and the WDR carnival show Blötschkopp und die Rampensäue .
