Africa is the title of a German-Austrian romance film from 2007 . The television film is the seventh part of the series Das Traumhotel .

action

In his capacity as the new General Manager of the Siethoff Group, Markus Winter visits the luxury hotel in South Africa, where his daughter Leonie works as an assistant manager. Leonie, full of idealism, is also committed to the environmental organization of the militant activist Sunita. This organization stands up for indigenous people and wildlife and wants to prevent a new golf course from being built by a group of investors. Unfortunately, the representatives of this group are holding a meeting at Markus' hotel when a demonstration by the environmental organization takes place on the hotel grounds. Although Markus sympathizes with the daughter's commitment, he sees himself exposed to complaints from investors and expels the demonstrators from the hotel grounds.

Markus' good friend Frank Wössner stayed at the dream hotel with his three children Mia, Theo and Lola. After the death of their mother, the children are busy looking for a new mother. The pretty and warm-hearted Rosa, hired as a nanny to relieve Frank, would not only please the children, but also the father very much. However, Rosa is in a conflict of conscience because she is a novice and about to take her vows. Finally, however, the love for Frank wins.

Sandra Saarberg is actually only on a stopover in the dream hotel with her boyfriend Thorsten Hellner. Both want to get married, but Sandra has not yet divorced her current husband Robert, who has lived on a farm nearby for years. Sandra lets Markus fly her to this farm and wants to bring about the divorce. She is amazed to find that Robert has completely changed his lifestyle in Africa. The former businessman now selflessly takes care of injured animals. Sandra begins to see Robert with different eyes. Ultimately, she decides against Thorsten and stays with Robert.

When Leonie is cared for by the local Zulu people after a traffic accident in the bush , Markus gets to know the culture and hospitality of the indigenous people better. As a result, he looks for and finds a solution with regard to the construction of the golf course that meets the interests of both the indigenous peoples and the group of investors. The group takes a stake in the hotel's golf courses and does without a new building; the proceeds from the sale go to a Zulu development project.
