action
General manager Markus Winter is staying in his luxury hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand . Susanne Rückert, hotel guest, turns to him worried because her husband Holger has disappeared without a trace after a dive. Holger and his friend Carsten were on a treasure hunt. Carsten cannot help either. Together, Markus and Susanne go on an extensive search and finally discover the exhausted Holger on a lonely island.
Hermann and Ursula Lehmann would like to spend their vacation in Chiang Mai with their daughter Meike. Completely unexpectedly, Meike presents the parents with her new fiancé, the fitness trainer Philipp Schmitt, who is not the ideal son-in-law for the jealous Hermann. Hermann suspects that Philipp is a cheater and spoils the family's vacation with mistrust and nagging. Only when his wife and daughter wash his head properly does he come to his senses.
Other hotel guests are the brothers Jens and Moritz. After bad experiences in the past, the rather shy Moritz imposed abstinence on the woman's darling Jens for this holiday. However, it is now Moritz who falls madly in love with the photographer Sarah and thus violates his own decree. For Jens, who cannot end up with Sarah, it is initially not easy to come to terms with this unfamiliar situation.
