Eva-Maria Grein von Friedl (stage name; * March 26, 1980 as Eva-Maria Grein in Miltenberg am Main ) is a German actress and musical artist .

life and career

Eva-Maria Grein attended ballet school from early childhood , later she also took jazz , modern and tap lessons and took private singing lessons from lecturers at the University of Music in Würzburg . After graduating from high school in Aschaffenburg , she went to the Broadway Dance Studio and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York as a visiting student . From 1999 to 2003 she studied musicals at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich. She appeared in numerous stage productions at the academy.

Grein made his first appearances in front of the camera in the movies Girls, Girls 2 - Loft or Love and From the Depth of Space . She became known to a larger television audience in the role of Tessa Thalbach in the telenovela Tessa - Life for Love and as the wedding planner Marie Andresen in the Traumschiff offshoot Cruise into happiness . In 2009 and 2010 she hosted The Spring Show on ZDF .

Grein met fellow actor Christoph von Friedl , whom she married in summer 2010, while filming the telenovela Tessa - Life for Love . Since then she has performed under the stage name Eva-Maria Grein von Friedl .
