Flora von Gallwitz enjoys city life in Hamburg to the full. After an exuberant party, however, the rude awakening comes next weekend. She realizes that her life is not going the way she would like it to be. So she literally escapes from city life. She finds her new home in the country with her aunt Feli and the rest of the family. Now she enjoys the province and quickly reconnects with her old childhood sweetheart Adam, who quickly embraces her again.

But she soon gets to know his brother Hugo in a new way. Over and over again she meets him in the strangest situations. He's always so self-confident and personable that he doesn't want to get out of her head anymore. A love is emerging that will still be put to a severe test. Her aunt's farm is on the verge of ruin. Now Flora seems to be the only one left who can help the family.
