Hans Günter Wagener

Hans Günter Wagener (born March 5, 1951 in Dortmund ; also HG Wagener and Hans-Günter Wagner ) is a German film composer .

He completed a classical training with a focus on piano and clarinet at the University of Dortmund.

After engagements in smaller ensembles, he became organist in the WDR media band in 1974. This activity left him time for studio work, recordings and guest performances in famous orchestras such as those of Paul Kuhn or Kurt Edelhagen . Around 1980 he recorded several records in collaboration with the organ manufacturer Farfisa , playing on the Maharani 2000 organ.

He composed the film music for numerous German television series, such as Das Traumschiff .
