10vor10 is an information program by Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) that has been broadcast on SRF 1 from Monday to Friday at 9:50 p.m. since August 20, 1990, apart from public holidays .
While the Tagesschau mainly broadcasts the latest news in a concise form, 10vor10 shows in- depth background reports , reports and interviews. As a rule, every program has a thematic focus (focus). A trademark are multi-part series on current topics. In terms of style, the concept of infotainment was first implemented on Swiss television with 10vor10 . In terms of content, the spectrum ranges from current reports to explanatory pieces to own research ( investigative journalism ).
In contrast to the Tagesschau , which is broadcast entirely in High German , Swiss German is also spoken at 10vor10 - for example in direct conversation with interviewees ; Standard German is moderated and commented on.

After the first broadcast on SRF 1, the broadcast is repeated several times on SRF info . 3sat mostly broadcasts a repetition after midnight, in which the interviews spoken in dialect are subtitled in High German.

The current moderation team consists of Bigna Silberschmidt , Arthur Honegger and Susanne Wille . Former moderators were initially Jana Caniga , Walter Eggenberger and the initiator Jürg Wildberger , later Alenka Ambrož , Ursula Hürzeler , Eva Wannenmacher , Christine Maier , Stephan Klapproth , Daniela Lager and Andrea Vetsch .
