Andrea Vetsch

Andrea Vetsch (born August 7, 1975 in Zurich ) is a Swiss television presenter .

Life

Andrea Vetsch has been working for Swiss television since 1999 . She began her career at Swiss television as a production assistant for the show 10vor10 . From 2001 to 2014 she was the presenter and editor of the Tagesschau . From March 2005 to December 2005, Vetsch also presented the magazine Schweizweit on 3sat . Since May 26, 2014 she has been moderating the news program 10vor10 on SRF 1 in a team of three alongside Daniela Lager (until 2016) and Stephan Klapproth (until 2015) . She succeeded Christine Maier , who left the show in October 2013.

Vetsch studied German , journalism and social education at the University of Zurich . She wrote her licentiate thesis on the subject In the slipstream of contemporary history. An approximation of Max Frisch's commitment in Switzerland in the 1950s .

Vetsch grew up near Bülach in the Zürcher Unterland . She is the mother of a daughter (* 2013).
