Daniela Lager

Daniela Lager (born May 14, 1964 ) is a Swiss presenter and journalist .

Life

Lager completed a commercial apprenticeship at a publishing house. She received her basic training as a journalist from 1984 to 1985 while working at the media training center in Lucerne . From 1986 to 1987 she was a presenter and editor at Schaffhausen Radio Munot in the news and magazine sector. In the following years she was an editor / presenter at the Swiss radio station Radio Z from 1988 to 1994 . From 1994 to 1998 she was a presenter and editor at the local television broadcaster TeleZüri , and she also worked part-time at Radio 24 .

She became known to a wide audience when she acted as a presenter for Roger Schawinski's new national private television broadcaster Tele24 from 1998 to 1999 . At the same time, she also worked there as an editor in the news department. In 1999 she switched to the Swiss window of the broadcasters RTL and ProSieben , where she was the presenter / editor of the news program.

In 2000 she went to Swiss television (SF) and worked there as a presenter and editor for Mittagsmagazin. Since 2003 she has hosted the news program 10vor10 , alternating with Christine Maier (until October 2013), Andrea Vetsch (since May 2014), Stephan Klapproth (until 2015) and Arthur Honegger . This activity was briefly interrupted during a baby break in 2005.

In July 2016, SRF announced that Daniela Lager would end the moderation from 10vor10 to the end of the year. She will continue to work as an editor and reporter for the show. Since October 2016 she has been moderating the radio program “Personal” on Radio SRF 1 . In November 2019, in addition to radio work, she took over the moderation of the health program Puls on SRF 1 , but gave up her work as a TV news journalist.

Lager is married, has two children and lives in Zurich.
