«Puls» is a television broadcast by Swiss Radio and Television (SRF). It deals with health-related topics and is broadcast every Monday on SRF 1 .

Content of the broadcast

Various contributions from the medical and health sectors are shown in the program. The focus of the reporting is on diagnosis , prevention and therapy . The central question is: What can I do myself to maintain or restore my health and well-being? The main topic of the show is conveyed in multimedia and deepened by the presenter with a guest in the studio. There is also a telephone hotline and live chat available to the public, where a panel of experts answers questions on the main topic. In the so-called “pulse mix”, short articles on the latest findings from research and medicine are shown. From 2008 to 2018, "Puls-Hausarzt" Thomas Kissling was available for talks on the show.

«Puls» works with the family magazine Schweizer Familie . Editorial content is partly worked out together and the Swiss family presents a selection of different viewer questions and their answers, which were asked by viewers over the phone in the previous broadcast.

"Puls" was first broadcast on SF 1 on August 30, 1990 and is broadcast every Monday evening at 9:05 pm. The program is repeated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on SRF 1 and SRF info and is made available on the Internet as a video stream and podcast.

Moderation

Daniela Lager has been the moderator and editor of the show since November 2019 . She replaced Odette Frey, who moderated the show from August 2016. Before that, Corinne Waldmeier moderated from August 2011 to June 2016, from 2005 to 2011 Nicole Westenfelder stood in front of the camera.
