Nicole Westenfelder

Nicole Westenfelder (born July 9, 1969 ) is a Swiss journalist and presenter .

Career

After attending the modern language grammar school at the Stadelhofen Cantonal School with the Matura Type D, she studied economics for two semesters at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in 1990/91 . In 1999 she graduated from the University of Zurich with a degree in general history (major), art history (first minor), social psychology (second minor) with a focus on health psychology: coping with illness and stress .

From 1995 onwards, she was a freelance journalist for the Uster and Zürcher Oberländer newspaper . In 1996 she undertook historical and art historical research for the documentary Precious Non-Valeurs. The history of the security and was culture editor at Radio Zürisee from 1996 to 1997 . In 1998 she moved to the editorial office of Radio Top and in 2000 she became a presenter at Peter Wick's MeteoNews AG. From 2000 to 2001 she was editor and moderator at Star TV , after which she was director, producer and game producer of the broadcast format Expedition Robinson 2002 for TV3 . In 2002 she worked as a freelance speaker, among other things, as Station Voice for Radio 24 , Radio Argovia and Radio Top. From 2003 to 2006 she was in charge of the travel section of the Swiss women's magazine Annabelle . From April 2003 to January 2005 she was also editor of NETZ Natur on Swiss television ; afterwards she worked there as a presenter and editor of the health magazine Puls . At the end of June 2011, she hosted her last show on Puls , but remains loyal to the show behind the camera.
