Walter Eggenberger
Walter Eggenberger (born June 24, 1944 in St. Gallen ) is a former Swiss television and radio presenter, who is best known for his moderation of the news program 10vor10 .
Eggenberger studied tourism / tourism at the University of St. Gallen and then got into the media business. He worked for news programs such as Echo der Zeit of the Swiss Radio DRS and presented the first broadcast of the newly designed 10 to 10 on Swiss television on August 20, 1990 .
In 1995 he stopped working on television and started working for the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Corps in North Korea . In 2005 Walter Eggenberger returned to 10vor10 for an anniversary broadcast . He is nicknamed the index finger of the nation .
