Umayya (other spellings: Umaya, Omayya, Omaya or Oumayya; Arabic نادي أمية الرياضي, DMG Nādī Umayya ar-Riyāḍī  , Sports Club ›Umayyads‹ ') is a sports club from the Syrian provincial town of Idlib with 110,000 inhabitants . The club plays its home games in the Al Baladi Stadium. The club was founded in 1972 and thus formed the successor to its predecessor, Al-Akhaa Sports Club Idlib , founded in the 1950s .

Umayya played in the Syrian First Division in 1991/1992, from 2001/2002 to 2004/2005 and from 2008/2009 to 2014 .

Other sports in the club are handball and martial arts (in men's and women's teams, especially in wrestling and judo).
