Nora Binder
Nora Binder (born February 18, 1984 in Bergisch Gladbach , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German actress , historian and social scientist, and author . She embodied her best-known role as an actress in the television series Mein Leben & Ich as Claudia Fischer. She also played in various supporting roles, for example in Lindenstrasse .
Life
Binder went through various training stations. These include the Silvana Kreutzer Academy (1998), an acting course in Comedia Colonia with Eliena Palmer (1998–1999) and an intensive theater course at the B. Bötel Drama School (1999). From 2004 to 2008 she studied European media culture at the University of Lyon 2 (Université Lumière) and at the Bauhaus University Weimar , which she successfully completed with a bachelor's degree. In 2012 she acquired in Konstanz Master's degree and was in 2013, for six months, as part of their PhD at the University of Konstanz doctoral fellow at the German Historical Institute in Washington, DC in November 2019 has ties to Dr. phil. PhD in History & Sociology. Since April 2020 she has been an assistant member at the University of Erfurt . At the same time, she received a 12-month postdoc initialization grant .
Binder's brother Fabian is a music producer and also worked as an actor as a teenager.
The ensemble of Mein Leben und Ich was nominated for the German Television Award in 2002 in the “Best Comedy Series” category and in 2004 in the “Best Sitcom” category. Furthermore, Binder was nominated as a member of the ensemble for Mein Leben & Ich in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006 for the German Comedy Prize in the category “Best Comedy Series”.
In 2013 she was awarded the Max Dessoir Prize for her outstanding work in the history of psychology.
Binder has also worked as an author on several books.
