Dorothea von Siethoff, owner of a large hotel chain, asks her nephew, the hotel manager Markus Winter, to visit the Hotel Dinarobin in Mauritius incognito. He should check there whether the acting hotel director Tina Berger is not overwhelmed with the management of the hotel. Due to a mix-up, the Dinarobin is of the opinion that Pastor Stefan Meier, who won his hotel stay in a competition, is the smuggled observer, while Markus is believed to be the winner of the competition. This makes it easy for Markus to go about his job unobserved. Pastor Meier, on the other hand, is pampered and pampered by the hotel management in the form of the pretty assistant manager Janin. Soon it crackles between the two. Tina and Markus also find each other more than personable. However, Tina is in a relationship with Klaus Wulf, the father of their son Benny. Klaus has just taken a break because he feels neglected by Tina.
Olaf Kreuzenbeck would like to use the stay in the dream hotel to finally confess to his mother the relationship with the pregnant Kerstin Jansen, who is also present at the hotel, but he repeatedly fails to muster the necessary courage - until Kerstin loses patience.
When Dorothea von Siethoff and Markus' daughter Leonie arrive towards the end of the episode, Markus has everything under control. Tina is confirmed as hotel manager and, to Benny's delight, the parents find each other again. Pastor Meier, now together with Janin, confides in a first official act on Mauritius Kerstin Jansen and Olaf Kreuzenbeck, whose mother is very impressed by the new daughter-in-law.
