Alexander Lutz

Alexander Lutz (* 1964 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor and musician .

biography

Alexander Lutz trained in music at the Vienna University of Music (classical piano ) and at the Vienna Conservatory ( jazz composition ) while he was still at school, before studying acting and directing at the Salzburg Mozarteum after graduating from high school, which he passed in 1982 at the Bundesgymnasium Wien 3 .

He was then a member of the tent ensemble , and there followed, among other things, engagements at the Munster Municipal Theaters and the Theater am Turm in Frankfurt . 1992 starred in the English language premiere of Jura Soyfer's Broadway Melody 1492 at the Ohio Theater in New York City . From 1993 to 1999 he was a member of the Theater in der Josefstadt .

As a musician he worked with the singer Tania Golden, wrote the score for the Babelsberg film orchestra for the film at the end of spring and contributed a piano piece to the television film We Stay Together . His audio image recorded in New York in 1995 (with interviews and music reconstruction) about the memories of the childhood friend Jura Soyfers, Helli Andis, was awarded the Andreas Reischek Prize in 1996.

In 1999, the solo evening Ewig dein Mozart was created in Vienna's Rabenhof Theater , a combination of letters and piano pieces, with which Alexander Lutz has since made guest appearances at numerous festivals. In spring 2002 Ewig dein Mozart was released on CD.
