Final whistle (working title: Mord im Olympia ) is a German TV film by Nikolaus Leytner from 2002 based on a script by Peter Ertel . It is the 35th episode of the crime series Der Bulle von Tölz with Ottfried Fischer as the main actor in the role of Chief Inspector Benno Berghammer. It was first broadcast on January 9, 2002 on Sat.1 .

action

The building contractor Anton Rambold, president of the Bad Tölzer football club VfR, finds the president of the rival DJK, Gustl Brunner, strangled in the center circle of the football pitch.

Inspector Benno Berghammer is investigating this time with Philipp Naderer, an assistant inspector from Munich Airport, who is convinced that a Tölz “Amigo” system is behind the murder. Berghammer, on the other hand, concentrates on the victim's personal environment and learns that Gustl Brunner has made a lot of enemies: To the displeasure of many members, he let the club's sports field deteriorate; In addition, he has gambling debts with the DJK top player Fredi Holzbauer, whom he has also excluded from participating in the local derby against the will of trainer Manfred Rupprecht .

Gustl Brunner's friend Alida Bernstorff, who initially pretended to be his housekeeper Apfelböck, suspects the Catholic Church and fears that she will be the next victim. She claims that her car's brake line was sawed and is asking for police protection. Inspector Berghammer's inquiry in the workshop shows that the brake line was simply rusted through. He leaves Mrs. Bernstorff in the belief that she is enjoying police protection.

Heini Brunner, the victim's son, had a disturbed relationship with his father, which is why his dismay is limited; however, no motive for murder can be derived from it. At least the commissioners learn from him that Fredi Holzbauer's wife Rosa is Gustl Brunner's biological daughter.

Brunner senior has decreed in his will that half of all assets will go to his biological children Heini and Rosa - the only exception is a house in Tuscany that Alida Bernstorff is supposed to inherit. Anton Rambold, who together with Gustl Brunner bought the DJK site from the church in order to build a wellness center for clergy, wants to acquire Brunner's share as soon as possible, but he bites on granite at Rosa Holzbauer.

The extract from the land register and the attached plan show that a circular part of the property belongs to a certain "Golden Goal KG", behind which, according to the registry court, the DJK trainer Manfred Rupprecht is. In order to lure the alleged murderer out of the reserve, Berghammer and Naderer ask Fredi Holzbauer to spread the false report at the club meeting that everything was done with the construction of the hotel on the old football field, and that the building contractor Rambold was going to have a new one Donate a sports field. The plan actually works: coach Manfred Rupprecht meets with Anton Rambold and demands the 50,000 marks that Gustl Brunner promised him if he ensures that the sports field goes to waste; Brunner has given him the center circle of the football pitch as a pledge. However, Rambold only laughs at Rupprecht when he says that Brunner undermined his authority as a trainer and called him a traitor. When the building contractor asked him to leave, otherwise he would tell his club mates what a louse they had in their fur, Rupprecht rushed at him and wanted to strangle him. The commissioners, who overheard from outside, break into the building and prevent another murder.

background

The shooting took place in Bad Tölz , Ismaning ( Antenne Bayern ) and Sauerlach (soccer field); The Hollerhaus Irschenhausen served as the setting for the "Pension Resi" .

criticism

The program magazine TV Spielfilm writes: “The Bavarian provincial farce rarely amazes. This is also due to the fact that Benno's quick-witted partner is missing: Sabrina is currently on educational leave. "Conclusion:" Despite heavyweight Fischer rather weak. "
