Sophie Wepper (born October 18, 1981 in Munich ) is a German actress .

Life

Sophie-Margarita Wepper is the daughter of the actor Fritz Wepper and the late Angela von Morgen.

From 2002 to 2003 she studied television journalism at the Bavarian Academy for Television , followed by a one-year traineeship with Lisa Film . Sophie Wepper made her television debut in 1991 in the Derrick episode Caprese in the city at the side of her father Fritz Wepper. Since 2003 she has played supporting roles at Fritz Wepper's side, for example in the hospital series In All Friendship - Episode Jealousy (2003), in the television films An Angel named Hans-Dieter (2004) and Kurhotel Alpenglück (2005). Sophie Wepper also works behind the camera and completed an internship while shooting the ARD film series Under White Sails - episode Odyssey of the Heart , which was made in Greece with Fritz Wepper.

On May 4, 2016, Wepper married entrepreneur David Meister, who was six years his senior in Munich . In March 2018, the couple had a daughter, whom they named Claire.
