This time, the astute psychologist Wendelin Winter has to investigate a murder case in Munich's high society - and in doing so he uncovered a swamp of love, jealousy and drug trafficking. "

action

The psychiatrist Dr. Wendelin Winter is involved in a therapy group on the subject of trust, while his daughter Alexandra begins her traineeship at a Munich tabloid. Delicatessen king Hans-Georg Fischer, in turn, drifts dead in the swimming pool of his villa. His death appears to have been caused by a cocaine overdose. Winter, who also works as a police psychologist, is asked to take over the psychological care of Fischer's wife Regine. The psychiatrist wonders whether an overdose resulted in Fischer falling into the pool. It turns out that Fischer was a man who was not liked by many due to his demeanor and coldness of feeling. His wife, to whom he owed his professional success, he punished with disregard and betrayed her. Regine's brother Karl Baumgartner hated his brother-in-law deeply. But also Fischer's lover, the nurse Ariane Jäger, had to endure a lot at his side. As it turns out, Ariane had a relationship with Baumgartner before she got together with Fischer.

Regine Fischer tells Winter that she mourns the man she met and fell in love with twelve years ago, but that she cannot mourn the man who was found dead in the pool. She feels guilty about it. She always hoped that he would become the way she loved him again.

After it has been found that the cause of an overdose of the earlier than of Fischer's death rat poison used poisonous alkaloid strychnine is you have to do with murder. A little later, Ariane Jäger is also found dead. She has the same mixture of poisons in her blood as Fischer. In addition, the florist Bernd Zeisinger is hit by a car. He is hospitalized seriously injured. Zeisinger got his flowers from Baumgartner. Cocaine was found in sachets of rose freshness found on him. In order to be able to offer something to his young lover Nicky Stein, he needed money. He had long since realized that at his age it was getting more and more difficult to find a partner and that this was probably only possible if he could offer a partner something financially. That's why he got involved in windy deals with Baumgartner.

It was Baumgartner, too, who exchanged the bouquets of roses to which the sachets of fresh flowers were attached. Except that the sachet he had attached to the bouquet was strychnine, not cocaine. Ariane Jäger also fell victim to this poison. Dr. Lohmeyer, who meets Regine Fischer by the pool in Fischer Villa, wants revenge for the death of the woman he loved above all else - Ariane. He assumes that Regine is responsible for the murders, which also makes him believe. "Why Ariane", he wants to know from her. She was addicted to money, recognition, glamor, and she saw her husband as a ticket to this world. When Dr. Lohmeyer is already standing in front of Regine Fischer with knife in hand, winter arrives. You only protected the real murderer, he tells Lohmeyer. He committed the murders out of greed and the fear of finally being exposed. And when Zeisinger tried to blackmail him, he then had this accident. And if that were the case, what then, Baumgartner countered coldly. At this moment Lohmeyer stabs several times, Baumgartner falls into the pool covered in blood. The arriving police arrest Lohmeyer.

Alexandra Winter has decided to pursue a different career path because the experiences she made at the tabloid were not compatible with her ideas. She would not have been happy with it, she confides to her father.
