August Schmölzer (born June 27, 1958 in St. Stefan ob Stainz ) is an Austrian actor and writer .

Life

After his debut in Heilbronn , August Schmölzer was engaged at the Theater in der Josefstadt . He played numerous leading roles under Otto Schenk . At the Salzburg Festival he was “the good companion” alongside Helmuth Lohner in Jedermann , Pompeius in Antonius and Cleopatra under Peter Stein . In 1999 he played Bärenjosef in Geierwally at the Stuttgart State Theater (director: Martin Kušej ). August Schmölzer has been a free member of the Münchner Kammerspiele since April 2000 .

Schmölzer had a recurring role in Julia - An Unusual Woman , alongside Christiane Hörbiger he played in 23 episodes between 1999 and 2000. He was seen in 16 episodes between 2006 and 2007 in the television series Die Familienanwältin . From 2005 to 2013 he was seen in 10 films in the series Die Landärztin . In 2013 he starred in four episodes of the hit series The Last Bull .
