Tunnelkind is an Austrian film by Erhard Riedlsperger . The film premiere was on October 26, 1992.
content
The film takes place after the Prague Spring in 1969 . The new rulers are blocking the borders. Julia, a 13-year-old girl traumatized by the death of her father, discovers a tunnel that leads to Czech territory. It is discovered there by a surveyor who is currently setting the course of the new border fence. A tender friendship develops between the man and the girl.
