Fabian Busch
Fabian Busch (born October 1, 1975 in Berlin ) is a German actor and director .
Life
Fabian Busch was born in the Treptow district and grew up in East Berlin . His parents were vaudeville - dancer , his father later stage . Grown up practically behind the stage, he appeared as an extra from the age of 13 . At the age of 15 and without any acting training, he applied to castings and got his first small film role in Wolfgang Kohlhaase's Inge, April and May . He was then accepted by an agency and in 1993, at the age of 17, played his first leading role in Matthias X. Oberg's Unter der Milchstraße , on theFilm Festival Max Ophüls Prize 1995 won the Prize of the Minister President of the Saarland. This was followed by important roles in Andreas Dresen's Raus aus der Haut (1997), Hans-Christian Schmids 23 (1998), Rainer Kaufmann's Kalt ist der Abendhauch (2000) and Hendrik Handloegtens Learn to Lie (2003). In 2000, Busch received a nomination for the German Television Award for best actor for the television film Ten Wahnsinnige Tage by Christian Wagner .
Fabian Busch also works for radio plays, for example in Theos Reise by Catherine Clément .
In 2010 he directed the short film Edgar about a widowed pensioner and department store thief looking for work and recognition.
In 2015 he played a leading role in He is back , a satire about Adolf Hitler . He also appeared in the third Fargo season in 2017 .
Fabian Busch is a member of the German Film Academy .
He lives in Berlin, is married and has three children.
