Hendrik Handloegten

Hendrik "Henk" Handloegten (* 1968 in Celle ) is a German film director and screenwriter . Since 2016 he has been featured as a Henk on official websites, in publications and in the credits of films.

Life

Handloegten spent most of his childhood outside Germany, living in Finland, Brazil, Switzerland and France. In 1985 he moved from Paris to Berlin . He studied film at the Berlin dffb , graduated in 2000 with his diploma film Paul Is Dead and won several awards, including the German Film Award 2003 for the screenplay for film learning to lie .

Hendrik Handloegten lives with the actress Fritzi Haberlandt in Berlin-Kreuzberg . Haberlandt played major roles in Handloegten's feature films Learn to Lie (2003) and Window to Summer (2011) as well as the lead role in his television film A Late Girl (2007).
