At the price, is a German comedy - series that runs in the fourth season of 19 December 2017 Amazon Prime. The series was invented by Kai Wiesinger , he directs, plays the leading role (Tom) and has been writing the books for the series alone since the fourth season. The role of the wife (Hanna) is played by Bettina Zimmermann . The first season of the series was developed by the authors Madeleine Fricke , Frederick Schofield and Sebastian Stojetz based on an idea by Kai Wiesinger based on the writers' room principle.
The first two seasons were on MyVideo shown, the third then sat1.de . The first three seasons were financed by Opel and Vodafone . The series is produced by Phantomfilm GmbH for Amazon Prime .
All four seasons have been dubbed into English since March 2018 and are now available in over 200 countries via Amazon Prime Video . As the first German web series ever, the third season celebrated its premiere at the Munich Film Festival in 2016 in the New German Series section . The format was the first short format ever to receive an award at ROMY 2019 in the new category "Best Digital Short Format ".
